Meatball sub is the best in Boston. I think better than Bricco's paneteria in the North End. The Italian is also great. Other sandwiches are also big and they use boars head.
For gods sakes clean the lettuce in a salad!!! We found way too many spiders in the lettuce. Nice to know it's fresh but come on!!! Gross, but I understand where lettuce is grown haha.
So basically I'll just always order subs going forward. Don't need any extra protein in my salad. -

Ahhh this place is so hit or miss, but lately it's all misses. I've never been in here and had an enjoyable customer experience, they're always curt and borderline mean, but that's not a problem for me if they deliver great food or high value. Lately, it's been slow, low quality food that just leaves me wishing I'd gone somewhere else.
Subs - $7.50 and you get a decent Italian sub, maybe 60% the size of a Subway sandwich, easy to finish in one sitting.
"Specials" - extremely disappointing. I didn't think you could mess up Ziti and sauce with Sausages. What's in it? Properly cooked pasta, rich tomato sauce, some sausage chunks, right? What I ended up with is a box of overcooked pasta, watery "tomato" sauce, and 5 bits of sausage for $7.50. Picture does it justice. -

I had a meatball sub there and asked to add grilled sautéed onions to add .
Awful sandwich... meatballs cold, onions were not grilled long enough, roll stale... expensive and won't be back... prior visit I had the steak tip sub and that was good... so hit or miss
Cashier or relative of owner had attitude like she hates herself or job, or all of the above -

Came here a couple weeks ago, no one was in the place, but we came in at 3 so we didnt expect it to be too busy.Guy behind the counter was ranting about something. Waited about 10 minutes before I got their attention. Lady was nice enough took my order but ignored my wife for some odd reason. Took them a while to make an Italian sub. When I finally got it the bread was oldish and the meats were mediocre. I had somewhat high expectations but was disappointed. May give it another try.

Excellent little sub shop. I came here once cuz it's around the corner from where I work and now I'm semi regular. Great prices, great sandwiches.
